The Historic Centre of Porto is the oldest area of this ancient city of Portugal . Is classified as Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, since 1996. Arriving by car, to the Praça do Infante (you have parking there), São Bento Station, arriving by train, or to the Cais de Gaia, arriving by boat, we suggest a pedestrian route, by the Gaia riverfront to the "mandatory" visit to one of the Port Wine cellars and by the Porto City Centre, stopping at multiple points of interest:
- D. Luís Bridge
- Church of São Francisco
- Palácio da Bolsa
- Rua das Flores
- Church and Tower of Clérigos
- Livraria Lello
- Avenida dos Aliados/City Hall
- City Market Bolhão
- Rua de Santa Catarina
- Café Majestic
- São Bento Railway Station
- Cathedral of Porto (Sé do Porto)
